My relationship/history with Fischl

Around February 2022 I started playing Genshin Impact. Lord knows at the time I was absolutely going through it. Mentally I wasn't that good at the time. And for all the bad things people like to say about this game, it sure did help me get out of it all. One girl in particular did a lot for me.

I gotta admit, chuuni has to be one of my favourite character traits. I love when characters embrace their fantasies in silly ways. So when I learned she exists I knew I had to pull for her as soon as I had the chance:

Of course, learning that she's a 4 star (she deserves better, though!) filled me with joy because it meant I had a fairly solid chance of getting her. That being the case; Just a couple weeks later I ended up pulling her. She's been a mainstay on my party ever since.

As time went on and I played with her more, she kept leveling up. For those who know Genshin, this means I also unlocked bits of her character story and voice lines. And the more I learned about her, the more she just kept growing on me. Until at some point, some months down the line, I couldn't imagine a life without her anymore. Her silly antics would always cheer me up, and she was an awfully comforting presence. In short, I loved her. And I still do! She's one of the bestest things that's ever happened to me.
